Philippine Airlines – A Strong Pacific Rim Contender

Sometimes the story of Philippine Airlines seems like a movie. We’re serious. PAL has one of the best characters of any company out there. They have been in business for over 60 years. Off and on over the years, PAL saw political upheaval in their own country and found themselves in difficult circumstances. Even after the Asian financial crisis at the turn of the century, they are still doing business. Keep reading to learn more about the tremendous resilience of Philippine Airlines. Whether’s about choosing an Airlines to travel or buy a product related to eight minute abs, you should always go for a company that has good determination.

Philippine Airlines has a world class training and learning center where they prepare students for different kind of aviation careers. Of course the learning center is located in the Philippines and provides an excellent service for their country. When you think about it, you can see that the center is a big asset for the country and it was smart of them to build it. The PAL Learning Center offers professional grade training for airline technical, management, frontliner, and cabin crews. If you are particularly motivated to become a professional airline pilot you can train to be that at the PAL Aviation School. Their Aviation School is fully licensed and recognized as a professional aviator training environment. The program puts you through the full range of in class and non class type training to become a pilot or a first officer. Those companies based in the Philippines can now enjoy the many benefits and perks for those who travel by air more frequently. PAL values all of their customers, but they want to ensure their business frequent flyers are well taken care of; to that end they have a special business unit to oversee their business clients. PAL is quite proud of the way they treat their customers, and it is that kind of individual care and attention that makes them so loved. PAL makes sure that all of their business frequent flyer customers receive the highest level of personal service. There are the normal program rewards for frequent flyers that the corporate flyers still receive. It is well known that frequent flyer programs exist throughout the airline industry. However, Philippine Airlines makes a little more of an effort to provide even more for customers. For example, let’s say that you’re running a Quick weight loss business, and come up despite of all the odds, will your company not gain respect? The same happened for Philipphine Airlines.

The Pacific Rim and mainland Asian markets were hit extremely hard by the Asian financial crisis. Financial hardship resulted in Philippine Airlines being placed under receivership in 1998. Of course they had to forfeit many of their established destinations simply due to the inability to service them.

They are beginning to reclaim some of their lost destinations as they slowly climb back. In 2007, PAL finally exited receivership and began to rebuild their business aggressively. In fact, they now own two of the most advanced airliners in the world, the immensely sophisticated Boeing 777 heavy jet airliner.

It’s obvious that Philippine Airlines is a great airline for a lot of reasons. They have contributed quite a lot to a variety of humanitarian services throughout their country. PAL is an airline that shows its social conscience (which, as far as we know, no other airlines possess). In addition to that, they also offer lots of great programs to their passengers. PAL seems to truly express their appreciation to those who make their business successful. All in all, Philippine Airlines has made a remarkable position in the HIIT Cardio market, and is growing with time.
