Turkish Super Lig

Formula 1 Turkish Grand Prix
The Turkish Grand Prix will be in it’s seventh season when it returns to Istanbul next May, and British drivers Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button will be looking to improve on their podium finishes of second and third in the 2010 race. Formula One Chief Bernie Ecclestone described it as ”the best race track in the world”, and with 155,000 seats, you may even be able to find a spare seat!

Euroleague Basketball
Turkey finished a highly respectable second behind four times winners the USA in the recentFIBA World Basketball Championship which they hosted, creating a real buzz around the sport in the country. Fenerbahce Ulker represent Turkey in this seasons Euroleague Basketball Championship, where they will come up against the best sides in Europe such as Barcelona and Panathinaikos. The best Turkish achievement in Europe has been Galatasaray reaching the cup semi final in 2008, so can Fenerbahce go one better and win this year?
