To see the original Balinese tradition visitors can visit the Bali Aga village in Karangasem regency. The Tenganan village is one of the village which originally live on the island before other people from the Majapahit kingdom come to Bali. Other village worth to see is the Trunyan in Bangli regency near to the Mount Batur. To get to this village visitors must crossing the Batur lake to the other side.

The beaches around the island for along time has been famous among surfers. Big waves, peaceful beach was the tag line of the old beaches in Bali. Today even though there are many white sandy beaches has been revamped for tourists, there are several beach which still retain it’s pure and peaceful environment. One of fine example of beach like this is the Virgin beach located in Karangasem regency. This beautiful white sandy beach offer visitor the peaceful beach without much visitor yet. The other beach will be the Hidden beach of Padang Bay and the Balangan beach in Jimbaran.
